Honor Mother Earth and Learn About Shamanism at the

    September Grateful Goddess Gathering!

What: The practice of shamanism is much needed today to help us all re-connect with the wisdom and healing power of the earth.  At this time of rapid change, the earth is one constant to which we can look to for support and healing.  In this talk, Jeanne will discuss the core principles of shamanism and suggest ways for re-connecting with nature.  She will discuss the wisdom of the animals and how they can help us in our life.  If time permits she will take you on a meditation to discover your power animal(s) and discuss its role in your life.  Jeanne Marie Troge, MA, has practiced shamanism for over 16 years.  She is co-owner of Brigid’s House: Center of Peace for Body, Mind & Spirit in Park Rapids, MN  www.brigidshouse.com; www.earthdrummer.com.

Where: Bear Creek Winery, 8800 25th St. S., Fargo
Drive south on 25th Street past Shanley High School. You will continue on even when it becomes a dirt road passing the new Davies High School and when you  come upon a charming green barn house with a luscious green yard, winery and golf course with pond, you have arrived!

    When: Thursday, September 16, 2010, 7 PM-9 PM

Cost: $25 for Goddess members; $20 for Grateful Goddess members. In addition to the valuable programming, the price includes a wine sampling and a delicious nibble.

How: Gather your friends and join us for an evening of honoring mother earth and learning about our connection with earth and the animal world.  Please RSVP to sheila@thegratefulgoddess.com so we may plan accordingly.
